I am not a happy camper. I'm tired of transmissions that feel so comfortable in our presence that they heave a contented sigh of relief and DIE.
This time it's the washing machine. I don't have a washboard and a bubbling brook behind the house. I don't have the longsuffering and good attitude to pass this test. I don't have a large cache of money that I don't know what to do with. I don't have a lifestyle that allows me to give up habitual clothes washing.s
I just have a big grumpy feeling.

I can beat you. In the past year it's been the dishwasher, furnace, hot water heater and the motor of the b/i vacuum system that the house came with. Still paying for two of the four. Ha!
Are you drinking water? Well, I know today you are not home, cause I wanted to walk over for lunch and thought I would call for reservations but you weren't there. I decided that you would be at Cheri's doing laundry and laughing it up while sipping tea or coffee...hmmmm, or maybe something bubbly? Then again, you might be at my house doing laundry and having some of my bubblies? Well, that was my first blogging thing that I've ever done. Do I fit in now? Drink some water.
You may or may not know this but I consider myself to be somewhat of an expert in the laundry department(wink wink if you know what I mean). Now if I am reading correctly inbetween the lines here I suspect that Mr. Blunderview's transmission will be up and running in no time at all thank you very much. A contented sigh of relief and feigning death every now and then is certainly nothing to worry about. Patience my child...
Things like washing machines have a way of knowing when your are at the end of your overdraft.... My sympathies to you.
Welcome Katie and congratulations on your first comment!
my sympathies to you ANdrea. It eases the pain to look at your awesome painting while I scrub my undies in the kitchen sink.......
Kate- You are Soooo "IN".
H>E>: How scarily perseptive.
Carol- YOU know it.!!
Ha! Love this!
I live in a house that I (secretly) believe is working against me...things that have failed include: furnace, well, water tank, shower, toilet...and this house is 4 years old! So, I am left wondering...is it ME? Or is my house trying to get RID of me?
Hmmmmmm....
