I Love Spring Cleaning

Well, I love it when other people spring clean. Then for a fraction of my hard-earned cash, I can get a washing machine, a stack of fabric, some awesome boy dress-up gear, clothes for the boy to attend kindergarten in, a basketball hoop, some dishes for Brian, AND some funky fridge magnets for the kids.
All without driving out of my town. Except the washing machine. But we got it for $75.00, so that cancels out the difference. (?)
Funny, I never saw any working berninas out there.

I got an adorable dress and 2 skorts for my 10-year old and a dress shirt for my 11-year old. I refrained from buying a snazzy old table-cloth because I simply must do something with my already existing stash before I build it any bigger. And I also unraveled a sweater I bought for $3.50 to reuse the gorgeous cotton/angora yarn in it - about a $50 savings on the yarn alone, I'm guessing.

I can't believe you and Brian have lived without Margarita glasses all these years!

Esther- which T will get to use SOON!!!

Jen- must you say "snazzy old tablecloth" so casually in my presence?!
I swear I clothed my girls out of garages, boxes, and thrift stores for the first ten years or so. Sadly, then they grew up and tall, and somewhat more opinionated.

dear, dear pants. The marguerita glasses are up in the cupboard. These are something entirely different. DIFFERENT, I tell thee. (actually I thought they were for pillar candles, and I thought I was buying them for the church, but then when Brian saw them he said he wanted just such a thing for a wheel of cheese...)

roo- come on over. The magnets are always willing to try on new clothes.
