I'm not sure what surprised and thrilled me more: Really enjoying a grown-up camping trip that involved canoes; or coming home to discover a very tidy house in which the children had faired extremely well.
I'll take one of each.

glad to hear that you were able to get away with adults and not have a destroyed home to walk in to. We came home early Saturday morning after a rainy night to find every light in the house on and the kitchen looked like it have fed 50 people instead of just one! But at least no one was injured in the making of the weekend!
oooh! Where'd you go? looks like alot of fun. smiles all around :) btw...It was lovely to see you in person a couple of months ago. I thought you were very brave and I was so, so glad you came!

That looks like you had a blast. I long for the days when Marc & I can again do that together. I miss camping, hiking, canoeing, etc etc.
