ditto Rosa's words... so many questions with the images.. ie. do you sew with that beautiful machine? I almost bought an old one at mcc McGregor - just because of that beauty... thankyou for this happy.! Ginny
Valerie- that lovely little button bird is part of a button picture fashioned by my friend rosa. (the comment above yours)
ha ha, perfect Ginny. You'll love this. I filched it out of the Scrap pile behind our local thrift shop. That's the problem- they are entirely too practical. Sure, it has no needle.... and possibly other parts. But LOOK AT THAT COLOUR!!
Do you remember the blue bird water colour? That is the marvellous bird that Jane drew as a preschooler after Rosa bought her a set of watercolour pencils for her birthday. It still sort of takes my breath away.
And the hanky with "freepeople" embroidered on it. What does that mean? What context did someone have to go to that trouble? Lucky me, I found it. And what about that amazing bug box? Aha! Ginny two two, of course. What a genius.
I too was admiring the button bird and wondering if it was going to show up on an upcoming bag. I'm loving these days of happy. They are so inspiring. Here are mine... http://my3-ring-circus.blogspot.com/2010/03/20-reasons-to-be-happy.html
I don't know how you keep coming up with these beauties. You are such a beauty. Your beauty-ful Schwester. Today YOU are my happy. OH, and can you believe it??? my verific. word is buote -- they just spelled it wrong!!
