Fifty-Six Years

November 5 marks 56 years that mom and dad have been married. When mom was asked for any reminiscence of her wedding day, her response was: "I like today much better than our wedding day. I'm much more relaxed, because now I know how it all turned out!"

Your mom's a wise woman.

Wow. 56 is a lot. You're lucky to have them both still around.

Wow is that weird. That's exactly what I said to Alice on our 6th!
If we stay married for another 50 I'll probably say the same damn thing again because I seem to repeat myself all of the time.

Seriously 56 years is beyond amazing, what a thrill to be so intimately connected to another person. Very Cool!

How sweet! Wow! 56 years. I cannot imagine.

I'd love to hear her 'lessons' for the rest of us.
