And the Sun Insists on Rising and Shining

Yesterday was my brother's forty-second birthday. I imagine he had plans to celebrate with his many friends, his true love , and his too-cute-to-be-true daughters.

Yesterday, my brother was hospitalized and diagnosed with a rare cancer.

I also have a 42 year old brother and can't even imagine how you must be feeling. Now's the time to draw on your family and faith, isn't it? Let's hope it's treatable. Take care Joyce and Joyce's brother.

Joyce....not that it's a big deal or anything but Ken is 43. I know because he's a year younger than me and I'm 44. Yikes and God be with us all. Reading that just now made me tear up again, only for the 2nd time today though. Love, Katie

One of the hardest things to comprehend in Life is the uncertainty and randomness of serious illness.
We always feel so powerless when IT happens to someone we love and shocked if IT happens to us.
I am very sorry to hear that this is happening to your family.

Everybody is going to need your sunshine.

Gosh! First chance I have to catch up with you in over a week and I find this. I really hope you're brother's going to be ok.

Sending warm vibes and good wishes his way xx
