progress report

With admirable determination, a no-nonsense plan, and a menu packed with whole grains , the results were nothing short of dramatic.

We have a wonky mirror at home("the skinny mirror")that Donn hates because it distorts the body into a slimmer version.I happen to love that mirror and have a better self image because of it. I, of course, refrain from looking into any other mirror.

hahaha, what a great pic., you are very funny.

you know, i told someone i was 38 the other day. It took me about 3 minutes to remember that i'm 48 not 38. And i can never say or write "i'm 48" without laughing, i just cannot take it seriously.
which i'm happy about actually.

i don't think age is to be taken seriously.

ali, if only we could be MORE LIKE YOU! Because of course, beauty is a state of mind. Of course, when one's mind is affected by various disorders, where does that leave me?!

Ruth- you just keep loving people, don't you? Without a hint of cheese, you just genuinely love people.

Lettuce- but you finished YOUR degree, right? and you made something of yourself? I've not yet GROWN UP and I'll be forty. I look at these large children around me, and realize I've not yet decided how to parent them...

Hmmm I just must comment on the comment by Lettuce. I've done the very same thing -- except I said I was 39 when actually I'm 49. Age - schmage.

I can never remember how old I am--really, and I am, I think about to turn 33 next month, maybe? I long to be older because my younger self was such an awful fool. I too struggled with the eating disorders, damaging my internal organs so that now I can't eat many foods that I would otherwise, and causing me to struggle with diets for years--until I found out that God was in control of my body shape and that being healthy was the key--not being the perfect shape.

I adore that picture--it is wonderful and joyful and fun.
