Joyce...that is awesome! You look so cute. Now that ugly sweater parties are trendy, does that mean you're going to stop having them?

Wow the ladies of this small "darp" are just putting Niverville on the map...some with sweathers and some with not : ) Great pic...great article....Lindalew
p.s I still think Bryan is wearing one of my famous "home-made sweathers"....

I thought I recognized Brian's sweater!

And just so you know, I never buy the paper (just read it online), but yesterday I HAD to make a special trip to purchase it just because of the article.

Sick! I forgot to buy the paper yesterday... glad you made it in!

Can someone post the on-line link? It's a long cold walk from Grand Rapids, Michigan.

I MUST read what this talented journalist had to say about the party!

I spotted the article as I was flipping through the paper. Maddie was looking over my shoulder and said, "Mom, I want to have an ugly sweater party - I HAVE an ugly sweater."

Great article!!!!

Could you post that article so I could read it too? You look beautiful, even make that sweater look good. And the appendectomy, wasn't that in 1981? I thought Erik was a baby at the time. I* remember driving around Medicine Hat late at night, waiting for the train, and pulling over so you could throw up. I bought you some potato salad, hoping it might calm your stomach down. Yipes! WE were both SO YOUNG and innocent (er) then. Glad you survivied. Laura

Hi. I just figured out how to enlarge the picture, so I was able to see it better. Please ignore my earlier request. Laura

SUPERSTAH!!!

It was an awesome experience (everything always is at your house) and a fitting tribute to a deserving, trendsetting, hostess.

I can't wait for the next goofy theme.
