What I Learned on my Walk Yesterday

Big dogs = Big poops

Little dogs = Little poops.

The former, with early spring thaw, melting into great gobs of moisture all around it is most unpleasant to witness. The latter, more tolerable. But only slightly.

i noticed that too...

if i was not dodging puddles yesterday on my walks, i was dodging piles of poop.

what is it about winter that makes people think they don't have to pick up after their dog?

I've been "picking up" on our farm yard all winter, hoping that Basil will be trained by spring. Welllllll today i scooped up some more and it was the "big poop" = big scoop. Not nice.

That's precisely why cats are indeed better than dogs!

That's right, Nancy. Keeping animal shit indoors preserved in clumps is SO much better than seeing it outdoors. Or better yet, store it in the sandbox so we can save our money refilling it with sand...the cats will keep it nicely topped up for you.
Better, indeed!

Oh Joyce, I can so feel your pain on this one...our dog used to poop in the same area all winter, and it would get covered with snow...
What a disgusting mess in Spring!

what i learned today:
little babies = little poops
Toddlers that should be toilet trained but aren't = big, smelly, gag me with a spoon, nauseating, POOPS.

You've got it all wrong Brian!!! The idea is to train your cat to poop in the neighbour's garden: no mess, no clean up, just a clean smelling house. Unless of course you like your neighbour, then you have a problem... :P
