Extreme Make-over Home Edition

Somehow I've got to tap into the cash flow and applause of this reality show.

They put up a huge fuss whenever they transform a place.

What do I get for turning this:

to this:
About fifty thousand times per day?

And always,
just in time for
This?!

Just in time for this -- something you can also take credit for transforming from a squalling, pooping baby into a gorgeous young woman. You're amazing. :)

I want a sturdy, take-a-beating and come-back-even-better kitchen table like yours. I've put up with the chipped/stained melamine and plastic chairs for far too long. Please tell me you got it for next to nothing at a national outlet store and that Brian didn't make it.

Andrea: Brian did make it. :)

When we got our first home in Brandon, we had nothing. I went into the shed which came with the property and looked around to see what was there. In the rafters was a bunch of rough and well-aged lumber. I spent the next few hours fashioning it into what has been our dining room table for the past 13 years. I'll make you one if you pay for my airfare to come out and visit you...and supply the wine, of course. I know B.C has a good supply of good wood.

First - i can't believe you can get your kitchen that clean! I'm soo impressed.
Second - I too have wanted a table JUST LIKE THAT for ever. So. . .
Third - I live in BC as well, (yes, there's great wood here :) so Andrea and I could hook up and get Brian out here - you have to come too!

PS - I used to live in Thompson MB! I just had to say it - there, it's out there.

Girls, you'd better be in a half ton truck on your way to MB, cuz I can't get Brian out of the garage...
